London-based designer/illustrator Nikki Farquharson makes great work, my favorite of which is her series, ‘Mixed Media Girls’. She creates them using colored pens and found imagery. Very electro/M.I.A., very rad. More work here.

Loving the electrosexual vibes of illustrator Augusto Giovanetti, aka Prrr. His collages create interesting juxtapositions between flesh, form, and color. There’s a lot more NSFW stuff in his portfolio, which I refrained from posting here. He’s from Uruguay but seems very Brooklyn to me. Check out more work here.

Yellena James makes some really intricate, textural work with abstract forms reminiscent of sea creatures. She has a nice collection of drawings and paintings on her portfolio site, as well as a large and decently-priced set of prints available at her Etsy shop. Worth a look.

I’ve been a fan of Matei’s ever since I bought this piece as an iPhone skin (totally bitchin’ and inexpensive; pick one up here). It’s a pleasure to look at every day and I get a ton of compliments on it. He has a huge body of work, and also offers free wallpaper and icon downloads on his portfolio site. Check it out.
